The Experience

Saigon really comes alive at night, and the best way to discover this local way of life is on the back of a vintage Vespa. Experience the best of Saigon's food, culture, and nightlife as you cruise the bustling city streets, admiring the contrast between old and new Saigon. Make sure to come hungry and indulge your inner foodie with some of Vietnam's most delicious eats. Soaking up the vibrant energy of this city after dark is the ultimate way to satisfy the adventurer in you!

Detailed itinerary

6:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Start the night tour with a few drinks at Cafe Zoom, a Vespa-themed restaurant, and see how Saigon transforms after dark. Once you've absorbed some of the energy radiating from the streets - and a few beers, of course - it's time to hop on the back of your Vespa and go, go, go!

Feel the evening breeze as you make your way through the streets and watch as the city comes alive, one makeshift sidewalk stall at a time. Bring your appetite and eat to your heart's content, trying a variety of Saigon's authentic dishes at two different restaurants. Only when you can't eat anymore, we'll carry on to a local Vietnamese-style coffee shop, where you can sit back and enjoy some live music. Once you've had a chance to recover from your food coma, we'll head over to a trendy music bar to hang out with the younger generation of locals. Here we'll end of the night with a few more drinks and enjoy live performances of Saigon's up and coming artists.

Remember, all drinks and food are included, so make sure you come with an appetite so you don't miss out on all the mouthwatering dishes! Let us show you the real Saigon.

Wow, that was awesome. Fun, educational, and a great experience. From the minute we met our drivers to the minute they dropped us off, it was just fun. Nothing is spared, more food than you can eat and you never go thirsty. The food was fantastic. We did the seafood experience and it did not let us down. Sensational. The bars we went to were pumping. Reserved tables and special service. I highly recommend Fooley as your guide. Very knowledgeable, great English and a lot of fun. My driver was Dong, great rider and always on the front. We will do this again in Hanoi this week. You cannot come to Vietnam without doing this.

Did the trip with driver, Nhi and it was terrific. We were concerned about safety and the seemingly erratic traffic of a large Asian city. However Nhi was skilled, informative and sensible. Zipping through Ho Chi Minh at night was a unique opportunity to see a whole aspect of life you would not get by other means of transport. The evening was effortless as all aspects of hospitality were considered. Advice don’t eat lunch as there is a deal of eating involved! Also if you suffer with motion sickness the smell of fumes and some of the “zipping” may impact on your nausea levels a little.Highlights include the crab at venue 1 and the last rock venue- outstanding! There seems to be several Vespa crowds this one seems to be the original.

I've been to Ho Chi MInh before and frankly I didn't really find a reason to go back. If not for the cheap fair from Air Asia, I wouldn't have. But really, Ho chi MInh for me was just a place to land--- I was really making my way to other parts of Vietnam. All this changed when i tried the Vespa Adventure tour. I enjoyed my time with them so nmuch that it made me look at giving Ho Chi MInh another chance. They took us to the best local food and we even ended up in a Rock Bar which we barely didn't want to leave. it was really so much fun, we learned a lot about Vietnamese food culture and this was definitely a good start to our trip, I mean, after this, we knew what meals we wanted. Definitely have to do this while in Ho Chi Minh.
