Da Lat – the City of Eternal Spring is known for its hills, pine forests, lakes, waterfalls and fresh air. The journey there is just as breathtakingly beautiful and full of adventures, if not more.
Join Onetrip on this drive from Nha Trang to Da Lat through the famous Khanh Le Mountain Pass (Omega Pass), which is one of the longest and most spectacular passes in the country.
On the way we will make a few stops that ensure you make the most of this day and get to know Vietnam a little bit better. It’s a journey for all your senses—from fresh air and beautiful sights to delicious home-made family-style meals, this tour has all.
First thing’s first - and that’s breakfast! Your personal Onetrip guide will pick you up at your accommodation early in the morning and drive you to our favorite breakfast spot so you can start off your day like a local.
After breakfast, you will be welcomed at the homes of a few families, each specializing in a different type of handicraft. We’re sure your meal earlier will have gotten your creative juices flowing as you will spend the next portion of the tour learning to make all sorts of things with your hands - incense sticks and even sweet rice paper which you can eat after! You will then get a quick tour of the ancient house in the village in order to understand historical Vietnamese architecture. The following drive, through large sugar-cane fields and rice paddies makes for many photo-perfect opportunities.
Your adventure will continue onto an ethnic village, where you will get to see close up what lives are like for these minorities. You will even get to gift the kids some candy! The experience is heartwarming. Then it’s time for a short trek and a swim along the village stream to cool your body down.
Once you’re ready, we will be back on the road to Da Lat. From here on, the roads are steep and serpentine, passing from one mountain to the other. After crossing the Khanh Le Pass, known for its spectacular views, we will stop for lunch at a family that owns a coffee shop along the way. You can even take a nap in their hammocks. All that’s left to do is continue straight to Da Lat City and it’s fresh air.
Breakfast, drinks, entrance fees, activities and an awesome local lunch are included.
We also have a minivan group tour option which can have up to 12 guests for a more social experience.
