What exactly is a Operation Optimizer?

Working in Operation Optimization team, you will be exposed to a variety of fields:
Business Processes

  • Starting with asking the right question about business operation, investigating and evaluating individuals and teams’ way of work
  • Conducting needs analysis to identify struggles, problems and expectations relevant to performance efficiency
  • Visualizing workflows and connections of tasks among teams
  • Recommending and implementing solutions that focus on boosting the performance and working experience of team members

Information and Knowledge-base

  • Working on and improving databases of information
  • Creating company-wide knowledge base to facilitate universal understanding of our operating practices
  • Proactively refining these knowledge bases to changes

Project Management

  • Researching and learning about project planning, collaborative task management, information flow and project goal setting
  • Bringing about effective project management methods, whether smart tech or simple checklist, tailored for our culture and organizational structure

Optimized Growth

  • Initiating projects beyond requests from teams, taking ownership of ideas that support the development of team members and of company
  • Forecasting need, demand and potential issue associated with operational growth
  • Building new teams as the situation demands
  • Creating sustainable operating foundation in whatever shape or size to facilitate short-term and long-term progression of the whole
The must-haves
  • Present a spirit of teamwork and a sense for personal as well as collective growth
  • Have the ability to work autonomously, manage your own workload and be proactive in setting deadlines
  • Be open-minded and able to express your ideas and communicate that to others
  • Possess a strong interest in learning and using software. Experience in any of the following software is highly needed:
  • Google Sheet / Google Form / Google Doc
  • Kissflow
  • Zapier
  • Airtable or similar database software
  • Project management software
  • Team collaboration software
  • Be curious, be ambitious, be willing to speak your mind and be willing to learn and experiment
What can you expect to be doing…
  • You will be working with every and any team in:
  • Handling teams’ requests
  • Supporting with technical issues from our rolled-out systems (Kissflows, Wiki, Forms, WhenIWork, ect.)
  • Conducting problem analysis discussion
  • Proposing alternative solutions and presenting demos
  • Creating detailed plans for roll out and implementation
  • Ongoing monitoring of new systems or the successful hand off of that responsibility
  • Following up and collecting feedback for improvement from team on all implementations
  • You will be generating new work by means of self generation and collection of team feedback
  • You will be responsible for creating training materials and SOPs of all implementations
  • You will be doing a lot of researching and fact-finding to support solution proposal and develop insights of your own
  • You will be participating in creating fun, motivating, team-building environment with your team members
  • Set-up tech and logistics for company events (eg: Town Hall, workshops, ect.)
