Want to get to Da Nang, but not miss out on all the amazing things that the road from the Imperial City has to offer? This tour with a private driver and guide has got you covered.
Your adventure starts from the very moment we pick you up at your accommodation. Our first stop will be for a tasty local breakfast of Bún Bò Huế (beef noodles) and a Cafe Sữa Đá (Vietnamese Coffee). This should wake you up and get you ready for the day’s adventure.
After breakfast, we'll head twenty kilometers east of Hue to visit the famous “ghost city” which is an ancient cemetery with hundreds of colored tombs of various styles from different religions such as Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism.
Our next stop will be the Lang Co Lagoon, where we can cool off by a beautiful waterfall or a secret beach on sunny days and enjoy a local Vietnamese lunch. Once you’ve had your fill, feel free to take a quick nap in the shade of the trees before we hit the road again towards Da Nang City.
Get the adrenaline pumping as we start to ascend the famous Hai Van Pass that you might have seen on BBC’s Top Gear. Other than the breathtaking winding roads, you’ll also find spectacular mountain and ocean views around every bend. Make sure to have your camera ready! You’ll also get to learn more about the history and the strategic military importance of this pass.
After this thrilling ride, we’ll make a quick stop near Nam Ô Village, where you will learn about how traditional fish sauce is made and it’s important to Vietnamese cuisine. Yes, you know you love our fish sauce… and if you’re lucky, you may even be able to take home a bottle or two!
With your heart, mind, and camera filled with memories, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation in Da Nang between 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
Breakfast, drinks, and local lunch are included
Although the private car option is available, we recommend taking the motorcycle option as we think it is the best way to experience our Vietnamese culture. On a bike, we can stop whenever and wherever you want. The freedom is incomparable to anything else you've ever experienced.
For those with back problems or family with elderly or young children, then we recommend the private car option. Although, we have had a courageous 6-year old having a blast, loving every bit of the adventure.
