Other things to note

We wanted to make it easier for guests to find a listing that matches their budget so this is what we came up with:

✯ Christina’s LITE - Most affordable

✯ Christina’s ORIGINAL - Best Value, the majority of our listings

✯ Christina’s LUX - Luxury without the price tag

House rules

Our #1 RULE is to treat our place as if it were yours - unless your place is a college frat house, in which case please treat it like your grandma’s house instead. We hate setting rules but the following are really necessary for us to provide everyone with a great stay:

NO SMOKING on premise. We will be forced to charge a USD250 cleaning fee for any violations and the offender may be asked to leave our property without a refund--it’s really not fair for our guests who paid for a non-smoking experience to have to deal with smoke.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors as required by local laws. Also, for the fellows, we are definitely not a "girl-friendly" hotel so please choose somewhere else if that's what you're looking for.

SHOES OFF inside the house. It’s a given in Vietnam but we understand that this can be an issue for some people so we just want to make sure you are aware prior to making a booking.

This is not so bad right?

Check In

Great apartment - great host. Right in the middle of things to do (which I liked), ... but thre is a club below the apartment that plays music ALL night until about 4:30 am and the base is so loud (also train coming through the area really close, honking horn, at night and day very loud) that its very hard to sleep. I should have read the listing more carefully b/c they say these noisy things are disclosed there. They offered me a move after the first night (nice of them) but it wasn't worth re-packing everything for just a couple nights. Its my fault for not reading their listing more carefully but still ... hard to rent out a place that is so incredibly noisy all night long

Great value, very clean, and great hosts. Highly recommended if available for these reasons. As mentioned in the apartment description, the train can be loud (I'm a light sleeper) but it was fine. From the bedroom door you can see the train pass through right below which I think is pretty cool.

Christina’s in the Old Quarter is a lovely place with very warm, welcoming and helpful staff who genuinely care about your entire experience there. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the Old Quarter, right next to Railway Street and easy walking to many great sights, bars and restaurants.

The apartment was very spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped, and the bed is super comfortable!! There are large windows throughout with fantastic views and lots of light.

The only drawback is the nightclub next door that operates until the early morning hours every night with very loud music making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even with ear plugs or a sound machine. I know the staff is working with their ownership to resolve this so hopefully that will change in the future.
