The Experience

Da Nang is the third largest city of Vietnam and is developing so rapidly that it has become a fantastic stopover for tourists to explore. The city has retained the perfect blend of what Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh have to offer - of modernity and traditions. What better way to explore all this than with a local university student keen to show you what the city looks like through their eyes? Not only will you learn a lot about this gorgeous coastal city, but you will also make a friend along the way and create memories to last a lifetime!

Detailed itinerary

7:30 AM - 11:30 AM / 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM

You can opt for either the morning tour which begins at 07:30 AM and ends at 11:30 AM or the afternoon tour that lasts from 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Our guides will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to all the must-visit sights in Da Nang. These include the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda and the fishing village. You will also get the opportunity to drive along the longest bridge - Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Da Nang City, the famous Dragon Bridge, and also a stop at the cute love-lock bridge nearby, similar to the original one in Serbia. You can put your own padlock on it, if you wish ;)

This tour will not only be educational, but adventurous as you get to explore caves and pagodas and not to mention, climb up to beautiful viewpoints that overlook the beautiful coast of Da Nang. Lots of photo ops awaits!

Of course, if you have visited the aforementioned locations, we can adjust the itinerary to your liking and include other places you are curious about. Our guides will work with you on how you can make the best out of your visit to the city. Just sit back and enjoy your ride!

This is a donation-based tour that benefits the students directly. Guests will directly pay for all expenses during the tour. However…

  • If you opt for motorbike as your mode of transportation, we do recommend a minimum donation of USD $5 to be given directly to the students at the end of the tour to cover their motorbike expenses. It is not an obligation, but we would hate to see them incur any out-of-pocket expenses to provide you with an awesome time.

  • For the safety of our students, a non-refundable verification charge of USD $1 will be required for each booking. All net proceeds will go towards training activities to prepare the students to be tour-ready.

One trip made my one day stay in Da Nang absolutely wonderful. The student volunteers were so welcoming, fun and friendly and made our morning of exploring the marble mountains and song tra peninsula so interesting and fun. In fact, I got on so well with one of the amazing guides, My, that we ended up meeting for dinner and a trip to the theme park that night. My was an excellent guide, both during the day trip and at night, and was so kind to spend her evening taking me around. We went to a fabulous local outdoor food court for dinner, then on to an arcade for games, drinks and listening to her friend’s band. She even showed me her house! It was an unforgettable evening and I’m so happy to have made a true friend in My. This is all thanks to Onetrip tours - cannot recommend them (and their wonderful student guide My!) highly enough

We did a half day tour in Da Nang with Jonny and Helen and it was honestly the best decision. They picked us up at our hotel at 7:30 sharp and took us on their motorbikes to Marble mountains, local market, where they show us the best spot for the best avocado ice cream (Omg so good), and to the statue of a lady buddha. They were both really friendly and we enjoyed fun time with them. If you want to explore Da Nang definitely go. There’s no better way to explore the city then with young locals.

Feedback on our Danang trip with Sang and Jonny. Right from the start we clicked with our fantastic guides Sang and Jonny. These guys are seriously funny and fun to be around. One of us was a bit apprehensive about travelling on a motorbike. We both felt very safe on the bikes. Both guys provided lots of extra information about details such as what fish or fruit we were seeing in the market. They made us think with fun quizzes about some of the things we were seeing. We finished our trip with an awesome lunch at a local restaurant. Still thinking about those delicious clams - yummy . Somehow they convinced us we must have some avocado ice cream. No-one was more surprised to discover how delicious it was. That is something we’ll definitely try again. If you’re not sure about taking a onetrip tour don’t delay - it’s a great experience!
