The Experience

Da Nang is the third largest city of Vietnam and is developing so rapidly that it has become a fantastic stopover for tourists to explore. The city has retained the perfect blend of what Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh have to offer - of modernity and traditions. What better way to explore all this than with a local university student keen to show you what the city looks like through their eyes? Not only will you learn a lot about this gorgeous coastal city, but you will also make a friend along the way and create memories to last a lifetime!

Detailed itinerary

7:30 AM - 11:30 AM / 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM

You can opt for either the morning tour which begins at 07:30 AM and ends at 11:30 AM or the afternoon tour that lasts from 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Our guides will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to all the must-visit sights in Da Nang. These include the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda and the fishing village. You will also get the opportunity to drive along the longest bridge - Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Da Nang City, the famous Dragon Bridge, and also a stop at the cute love-lock bridge nearby, similar to the original one in Serbia. You can put your own padlock on it, if you wish ;)

This tour will not only be educational, but adventurous as you get to explore caves and pagodas and not to mention, climb up to beautiful viewpoints that overlook the beautiful coast of Da Nang. Lots of photo ops awaits!

Of course, if you have visited the aforementioned locations, we can adjust the itinerary to your liking and include other places you are curious about. Our guides will work with you on how you can make the best out of your visit to the city. Just sit back and enjoy your ride!

Important

This is a donation-based tour that benefits the students directly. Guests will directly pay for all expenses during the tour. However…

  • If you opt for motorbike as your mode of transportation, we do recommend a minimum donation of USD $5 to be given directly to the students at the end of the tour to cover their motorbike expenses. It is not an obligation, but we would hate to see them incur any out-of-pocket expenses to provide you with an awesome time.

  • For the safety of our students, a non-refundable verification charge of USD $1 will be required for each booking. All net proceeds will go towards training activities to prepare the students to be tour-ready.

We engaged the City Tour which was conducted by Trang (called her by Coco) and Hien. They brought us around to explore the sights and sound of Da Nang on a motorbike and it felt like travelling with a group of close friends. Although young being either a fresh graduate or a uni student, they were very professional and was always willing to share more with us. They knew where to go for us to experience the local culture and it was extremely fun with them. We visited the Lady Buddha Temple, a local market, the oldest bridge in Da Nang and also the beach where the fishermen would sell their catch in the day. We skipped the Marble Mountain as we have been there previously. Coco & Hien was really helpful as well, helping us to take as many photos as we could to capture the experience and also being 'directors' for our shoots which was a highlight for us too.We strongly recommend that if you have a short time to explore the city, this is one of the best way to do so. And special mention to Coco & Hien, you ladies made the entire experience unique for us and puts the smiles on our faces.

A friend of mine told me about Onetrip and contacting them was the best idea. Helen and Leo were our hosts and we were happy to meet them. They took us to the marble mountains, to the local market where we ate the best avocado ice cream ever, and to the Lady Buddha viewpoint. However, the best was not the itinerary, the best was to spend the day with them. it was amazing.thanks for a great afternoon. we learned about Da Nang and learned about two spectacular students.Thank you Helen for the pictures. Thanks Leo for the cooking tips.we hope to see you soon. We will never forget Da Nang and we will never forget our new friends.Remember: if you ever go to Peru, you have two friends and a home.

Me and my wife have a very nice day touring Da nang with Chien and Tyler on their motobikes. We visited fishermen village, Lady Buda, and view point of city. Have very nice local coffee by the lake. They were very knowledgeable and challenging by questions. We have loads of fun and totally enjoyed our day even though it was raining.
