The Experience

There’s no better way to explore a new city than on foot! On this walking tour around Da Nang, you’ll be led by a local student who will show you the charming spots and hidden alleyways of this laidback coastal city.

Detailed itinerary

8:00 AM - 10:30 AM / 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Starting off at Seahorse Cafe & Bar, we’ll explore the bustling Han Market, marvel at the pink church, sample some authentic Vietnamese coffee in Coffee Street, gain insight into local culture and history at the Champa museum and then lastly, see the magnificent Dragon Bridge.

History, food, coffee and culture all packed into a 2.5-hour adventure!

First of all, thank you for being so responsive throughout this process from beginning to end. Our tour was booked last minute, but Vi (the PIC at that hour I think) managed to arrange everything for us. It was around 10 pm already, so I hope you can send her my "Thank you". Especially as we were kind of a troublesome group: making last- minute booking, then asking to change the time of tour. On tour date, we got lost a little bit when trying to walk from our hotel to the meeting point (map said it was only 10 minutes walk, so why not?). But our guide - Vu (I think his English name was Josh) called us constantly to check, and to give us directions, and waited for us, without any complaints or annoyance. During the tour, he was very cheerful, and more importantly, he was flexible and he listened, which we really appreciated as we had not-so-good experience with a guide from a previous city tour in another city. We cut short the tour little bit because we wanted to be at the airport early, but all in all, it was good, especially the market, definitely different from where we live, and we had fun there.

Our guide for the day was John, who was super knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed our time with him a lot and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the city and understand how quickly it has changed in the past 10 years.

Tyler was an absolutely extraordinary tour guide! From our first meeting until even after the tour has concluded, Tyler has been nothing but a good friend to me in Da Nang as this would be my first time traveling on my own. He has been punctual, caring, and very knowledgable about each destination we visited and truly blew my expectation out of the park by tailoring the tour to my interest. I would highly recommend Tyler as your next tour guide because he genuinely interested in making your trip in his hometown a memorable one! Thanks again Tyler, you are a gem!
