Detailed itinerary

4:30 PM - 8:30 PM

We will pick you up at your accommodation and take you on an exciting flavor trip, driving through the city’s scenic coastal roads and into smaller alleyways. Forget fancy restaurants – you will be joining locals for some delicious sidewalk dining.

We’ll zig zag through small alleys to our first starter dish called “bánh bèo,” and after you savor these delicious steamed rice cakes, you will be trying “mít trộn” at your next stop. Our guides will tell you their favorite stories behind these dishes, as they are a big part of anyone’s childhood in Vietnam.

Once storytime is over, we’ll go behind Da Nang’s iconic Dragon Bridge to enjoy the views and learn about the lives of the local fishermen before driving through the most fancy nightlife area of the city. We’re not here to party though, we’re actually here to drink tea. So our next stop is a local tea house.

Once tea time is over, we’re going to indulge in some of Da Nang’s best seafood! We’ll drive you along the coast and let that salty breeze cool you down on our way to the next stop. The starring dishes here are clams cooked with lemongrass, “nghêu hấp sả,” and cockle shells, fried with scallions, “sào huyết nướng mỡ hành.”

To top everything off, our final stop is to savor some Vietnamese dessert called “bánh bò.” This will undoubtedly help you end your evening in a sweet note.

Note:

  • Tour itinerary is customizable based on your dietary requirements and preferences.
  • We highly recommend choosing the motorbike option, in which case you will ride on the back of your guide’s bike through colorful Da Nang. It is the most authentic way to feel like a local and experience the height of Da Nang’s bridges as well as the friendly communities that spill into the streets.

All-inclusive

Your meals and drinks are included in the price. All you have to do is eat!

We had the BEST time! Sky was my scooter driver, and she was GREAT! Traffic is crazy, and yet I felt safe the whole ride. Each place we stopped to eat was authentic and delicious! We love trying local street food, and this was the perfect introduction to how to order, what to order, and how to eat it! It has made the rest of the trip more fun because we feel confident choosing food and eating around Vietnam. Sky went beyond the tour and gave us recommendations for other places to see and eat (which were all amazing!), and even gave me her number so I could text her with questions. She’s been super helpful, friendly and kind! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour, and for sure do it on the scooters!!!

Thank you! Your tour gave us the confidence to try foods and locations that would have been intimidating previously! What a gift. For the rest of our trip, we have been curious and bold, stopping to try this or that and absolutely falling in live with Vietnam, the food and culture. Our guides, Sky and Chong were incredible. Their English was fantastic. They were so fun and kind. While we are comfortable on motorbikes, the Vietnam traffic is something else, and I had great confidence in both of them. So much fun to zip around Da Nang on a scooter — a MUST DO for your trip to Vietnam.

I think I am in love with Vietnamese food and Pho is not on the list thanks to this tour. Our tour guide were great with explaining more of the culture and getting around on the bikes. It was nice to get around the city and away from the bright lights of new construction. All of the food places were really good and I have never seen any of those dishes before. The guides, Brian and Sky, were great about adjusting where we went according to food allergies or even comparing to things we had already tried during our stay. Great people, great food! They have me wanting to come back again already.
