Guest access

Unlike many other spaces in Ho Chi Minh City, there is no curfew with us. You are able to walk in and out as you please. If you wish to, we can have a beer together and discuss all the great food options you have nearby and the sights you must see while in town. When it becomes so hot, feel free take a swim in the infinity pool on the 5th floor that opens from 7:00 to 17:00 to relax and marvel at the river and city in front of your eyes.

Interaction with guests

We respect the privacy of our guests but we will always be there should you ever need anything. We can even go out for a nice meal or have a beer somewhere - just shoot us a message via Airbnb :)

The neighborhood

The Gold View complex is located near the city center - you are only 10-min drive to Ben Thanh Market and all it entails. You can also reach other popular tourist attractions with a quick drive to make a day out of it.

If you're a little of a night owl, you can head toward the backpackers' area (Bui Vien and Pham Ngu Lao), packed with restaurants, bars and, clubs. There’s one for each personality - your options are almost limitless!

If you are into street-food, you’re lucky you’re in District 4. Ton Dan street, Vinh Khanh street, and Cau Chong street, all within 4km, are all popular street food alleys where you can find various dishes of Vietnam, such as pho, bun rieu, sea snails (oc), banh mi, bot chien, bun mam, etc., even BBQ chicken and sushi! You can either join the countless others on stools on the sidewalk or get some takeaway and find a spot on the famous Cau Mong bridge, mumble as you watch the sunset over the river.

Getting around

Don’t be overwhelmed by the motorcycles on the road – walk around, cross our streets, get some street food and enjoy a Ca Phe Sua Da by the sidewalk. You are only a walking distance away from many restaurants and markets, but taxis are readily available too for ~15k VND per km, but Grab are the cheapest options to get around with no hassle. They also offer the bike options so you can avoid traffic.

PS – Vietnam is generally safe, but it is not uncommon for our guests to lose their belongings while on the streets. So be extra careful when you’re out, especially with your bag and when using your phone.

Other things to note

We highly recommend that you take advantage of Onetrip’s donation-based City Tour which is run by local university students seeking cultural exchange opportunities with foreign travelers. It is a great way to orient yourself within the city and see all the beautiful landmarks of Saigon. Not to mention, it is a favorite among our guests! There's also the Evening Food Tour to fill your tummy up with what we think is the best local food. Other options include the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels Adventure. If interested, do send us a message and we will save you a seat!

Our team provides some of the best adventures throughout the country via Onetrip while Christina's is also available in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Lat and Hanoi. So if you need help planning the trip of a lifetime in Vietnam, just let us know. Just mention that you want a "Magical Trip" and we'll prioritize to make sure you're taken care of.

House rules

Our #1 RULE is to treat our home as if it were your own - unless your home resembles that of a college frat house, in which case think of your grandma’s home instead =) With that being said, the following rules are implemented out of necessity in order to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

STRICTLY NO SMOKING inside the property. Any signs of smoking inside our property will result in a USD$250 cleaning fee for restoration of our property and availability loss to get the unit ready for our next guests. Additionally, we reserve our rights to ask guests who break our policies to leave immediately without refund.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors. This is actually required by the law but is also a good practice to ensure everyone's safety. You will be held completely responsible for any wrongdoing such as causing damage, being negligent (ie: leaving the gate to our home unlocked), and being disrespectful to those around. Standard extra guest fees will also be applied accordingly.

NO SHOES inside the house. We understand this can be an issue for some people, but that is the Vietnamese custom and we also love to keep our floors clean. Maybe you’ll make a habit of it back home!

A SOCIAL ACCOMMODATION - We strive to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience that is different to what you get at hotels and hostels – something more responsible, more human, and ultimately more valuable. We believe that our mission aligns perfectly well with Airbnb’s community. With that in mind, please do not treat our members or our services like you would at a hotel. If you’re looking for 24/7 room service, we strongly suggest that you book your accommodation elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a chilled out, cozy atmosphere…a home away from home, then by all means book with us.

HAVE RESPECT for those around you. All of the rules listed above are simply to encourage our guests to be respectful towards one another and together build a better, more social and responsible community.

CONSEQUENCES for breaking these rules can unfortunately result in the offender(s) being asked to leave, in addition to providing compensation for losses or damages caused. We will have complete discretion on whether to offer a refund for the unused portion of the reservation. So far, we have not asked any guest to leave and we would prefer to keep it that way for as long as we can, so please help us keep the friendly streak going.

Other than that, all that is left to say is that we hope you have a wonderful stay and that you will fall in love with this beautiful city just like we did.

Great place to stay! This was my second time staying at Christina’s Saigon so I definitely recommend them. I stayed here during the Tet holiday and they gave me an itinerary of what to do as well as what was open. I could even see the fireworks from my bedroom window. Overall great stay!
