Guest access

Unlike many other spaces in Ho Chi Minh City, there is no curfew with us and you have 24/7 access to your studio. Another of our Christina’s houses is just two buildings to your left. Here you can use our lounge area at any time of the day!

Interaction with guests

We respect the privacy of our guests, but yet still are available if there is anything you need help with or even to just hang out, have a beer or a delicious local snack.

The neighborhood

Our home is tucked away in an alley, away from all the noise of Saigon’s busy streets. Everything you need is only a few steps away – 24hr convenience stores, restaurants, bars, cafes and even parks. We’re also less than a 5-minute walk away from Ben Thanh Market and all that it entails, and just a 7-minute walk from the backpacker area consisting of Bui Vien and Pham Ngu Lao, as well. Despite the vibrant surrounding area, our home is located in a safe, CCTV-monitored alley, so rest assured and enjoy your stay with us. Nguyen Hue (Walking Street) and other tourist sites aren’t far off either – so you can make a great day out of exploring our alleys and sights.

With everything located so conveniently close to you, there’s not much else you’d need in a city like this. We’ll gladly recommend places for you to go if you are overwhelmed with your choices!

Getting around

Don’t be overwhelmed by the motorcycles on the road – walk around, cross our streets, get some Banh Mi and go to September 23 Park or have a Ca Phe Sua Da on the sidewalk like a local. You are only a walking distance away from many restaurants and markets, but taxis are readily available too for ~15k VND (less than 1$) per km, or you can opt for Grab and GoViet (transportation apps just like Uber), which are our recommended cost-saving means of transportation to explore the city with no hassle. They also offer the motorbike option so you can get around easily even during rush hours.

Ben Thanh city bus station is just in front of the market if you want to be adventurous and try our local buses to get to another part of the city. If you need any advice on catching one of these, just ask us and we will help you.

Other things to note

We highly recommend that you take advantage of OneTrip’s donation-based City Tour run by local university students seeking cultural exchange opportunities with foreign travelers. It is a great way to orient yourself within the city and see all the beautiful landmarks of Saigon. Not to mention, it is a favorite among our guests.

We also offer an Evening Food Tour to fill your tummy up with what we think are the best local yumyums. Other options include the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels Adventure. Saigon In-Depth is great experience for those who love enjoying local experience and having deeper view of Saigon. If interested, do send us a message and we will save you a seat :)

House rules

Our #1 RULE is to treat our home as if it were your own - unless your home resembles that of a college frat house, in which case think of your grandma’s home instead =) With that being said, the following rules are implemented out of necessity in order to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

STRICTLY NO SMOKING inside the property. Any signs of smoking inside our property will result in a USD$250 cleaning fee for restoration of our property and availability loss to get the unit ready for our next guests. Additionally, we reserve our rights to ask guests who break our policies to leave immediately without refund.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors. This is actually required by the law but is also a good practice to ensure everyone's safety. You will be held completely responsible for any wrongdoing such as causing damage, being negligent (ie: leaving the gate to our home unlocked), and being disrespectful to those around. Standard extra guest fees will also be applied accordingly.

NO SHOES inside the house. We understand this can be an issue for some people, but that is the Vietnamese custom and we also love to keep our floors clean. Maybe you’ll make a habit of it back home!

A SOCIAL ACCOMMODATION - We strive to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience that is different to what you get at hotels and hostels – something more responsible, more human, and ultimately more valuable. We believe that our mission aligns perfectly well with Airbnb’s community. With that in mind, please do not treat our members or our services like you would at a hotel. If you’re looking for 24/7 room service, we strongly suggest that you book your accommodation elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a chilled out, cozy atmosphere…a home away from home, then by all means book with us.

HAVE RESPECT for those around you. All of the rules listed above are simply to encourage our guests to be respectful towards one another and together build a better, more social and responsible community.

CONSEQUENCES for breaking these rules can unfortunately result in the offender(s) being asked to leave, in addition to providing compensation for losses or damages caused. We will have complete discretion on whether to offer a refund for the unused portion of the reservation. So far, we have not asked any guest to leave and we would prefer to keep it that way for as long as we can, so please help us keep the friendly streak going.

Other than that, all that is left to say is that we hope you have a wonderful stay and that you will fall in love with this beautiful city just like we did.

Check In

A perfect place to stay in HCMC.

The apartment is clean, spacious and well furnished. The hosts are very helpful and attentive. The Honour Bar is another nice touch.

The highlight for us was the location. The apartment is on a quiet alleyway that is active with locals. Coffee shop, local dining, street food and even a small single vendor street market that was quietly set up each morning. In District 1, but not in the backpackers area, and not amongst the boring tourist hotels. Wonder a block or two in any direction and experience an active HCMC going about it’s daily routine. Walkable to almost all of our HCMC destinations.

Thanks again for a great stay. This will be at the top of our recommendation list.
