CHRISTINA'S IS THE #1 RANKED ACCOMMODATION IN VIETNAM.

A simple and modern one-bedroom apartment with everything you need, centrally located, yet hidden away in an alley for a peaceful night of sleep and conveniently walk to many main attractions

About the place

Beatty’s City Oasis

Welcome to Christina's Saigon! If you can venture into our alleys here, you can venture into alleys anywhere. The alleys are where Christina’s is at our best!

Alley (Hem) 55/2 Le Thi Hong Gam is located in the middle of the city, just steps from Ben Thanh Market and right across from the Chat Bistro, a lovely artisan café restaurant. Step outside and you’re right in the center of Saigon or stay in to escape from the 24/7 city-bustle of Saigon for a peaceful night of sleep.

At this house, our common space includes a large common area on the ground floor and a spacious rooftop where you can do laundry or have a group barbeque all at the same time!

This spacious 1Bedroom apartment is well equipped with:

✯ A firm but comfortable QUEEN-SIZED bed topped with soft cotton linens

✯ A LIVING ROOM to lounge about in

✯ A KITCHENETTE to prepare your morning pancakes

✯ And of course, an en-suite BATHROOM to take a shower after a long day.

The WINDOWs bring in plenty of NATURAL light to brighten up your stay.

Our ROOFTOP is also just a quick elevator ride up to the 4th floor. Here you can do your LAUNDRY or sit down at the table, surround yourself with potted greenery, and have a beer after a long hard day :))

Guest access

Unlike many other spaces in Ho Chi Minh City, there is no curfew with us. In addition to having 24/7 access to the house and your apartment, you can also use our laundry facilities, rooftop, and our lounge area at any time of the day!

We can even have some drink upstairs on the rooftop – it’s a great way to get to know each other and meet other guests. Just take the lift to the 4th floor, make a few steps up and enjoy the view =)

Interaction with guests

We respect the privacy of our guests, but are available if there is anything you need help with or even to hang out and have a beer or a delicious local snack. Some of our team members even live in the premises. Come hang out with us in the common area or send us a message if you don’t see us.

The neighborhood

Our home is tucked away in an alley, away from all the noise of Saigon’s busy streets. Everything you need is only a few steps away:

✯ A safe place to enjoy your stay with CCTV-monitored alley

✯ 24/7 convenience stores, restaurants, bars, cafes and even parks.

✯ Ben Thanh Market is only 5 min walking from our home and all that it entails

✯ Just a 5-minute walk from the backpacker area consisting of Bui Vien and Pham Ngu Lao, as well.

✯ Nguyen Hue (Walking Street) and the tourist sites that surround it aren’t far off either – so you can make a great day out of exploring our alleys and sights!

With everything located so conveniently close to you, there’s not much else you’d need in a city like this. We’ll gladly recommend places for you to go if you are overwhelmed with your choices!

Getting around

Don’t be overwhelmed by the motorcycles on the road – walk around, cross our streets, get some Banh Mi and go to September 23rd Park or have a Ca Phe Sua Da on the sidewalk like a local. You are only a walking distance away from many restaurants and markets, but taxis are readily available too for ~15k VND per km, or you can opt for Grab and GoViet (transportation apps just like Uber), which are our recommended cost-saving options to explore the city with no hassle. They also offer the bike options so that you can get around easily even during rush hours.

Ben Thanh city bus station is just in front of the market if you want to be adventurous and try our local buses to get to another part of the city. If you need any advice on catching one of these, just ask us and we will help you.

PS – when you are walking, do keep your belongings safe. Bag snatching and pickpocketing is a big issue here unfortunately (especially if you are a tourist) and we don’t want your holiday to be ruined.

Other things to note

We highly recommend that you take advantage of Onetrip’s donation-based City Tour run by local university students seeking cultural exchange opportunities with foreign travelers. It is a great way to see the city and a big favorite for our guests.

Onetrip is the #1 ranked tour operator offering Evening Food Tour and other experiences, including the Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi Tunnels Adventure. Just send us a message if you need help booking an experience.

House rules

Our #1 RULE is to treat our home as if it were your own - unless your home resembles that of a college frat house, in which case think of your grandma’s home instead =) With that being said, the following rules are implemented out of necessity in order to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

STRICTLY NO SMOKING inside the property. Any signs of smoking inside our property will result in a USD$250 cleaning fee for restoration of our property and availability loss to get the unit ready for our next guests. Additionally, we reserve our rights to ask guests who break our policies to leave immediately without refund.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors. This is actually required by the law but is also a good practice to ensure everyone's safety. You will be held completely responsible for any wrongdoing such as causing damage, being negligent (ie: leaving the gate to our home unlocked), and being disrespectful to those around. Standard extra guest fees will also be applied accordingly.

NO SHOES inside the house. We understand this can be an issue for some people, but that is the Vietnamese custom and we also love to keep our floors clean. Maybe you’ll make a habit of it back home!

A SOCIAL ACCOMMODATION - We strive to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience that is different to what you get at hotels and hostels – something more responsible, more human, and ultimately more valuable. We believe that our mission aligns perfectly well with Airbnb’s community. With that in mind, please do not treat our members or our services like you would at a hotel. If you’re looking for 24/7 room service, we strongly suggest that you book your accommodation elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a chilled out, cozy atmosphere…a home away from home, then by all means book with us.

HAVE RESPECT for those around you. All of the rules listed above are simply to encourage our guests to be respectful towards one another and together build a better, more social and responsible community.

CONSEQUENCES for breaking these rules can unfortunately result in the offender(s) being asked to leave, in addition to providing compensation for losses or damages caused. We will have complete discretion on whether to offer a refund for the unused portion of the reservation. So far, we have not asked any guest to leave and we would prefer to keep it that way for as long as we can, so please help us keep the friendly streak going.

Other than that, all that is left to say is that we hope you have a wonderful stay and that you will fall in love with this beautiful city just like we did.

Saigon, a city with so many delights.

Guess what? from this fabulous home away from home you can walk to a myriad of them and those that you can't the staff will organize a side trip.

This is a great place to stay in Saigon. To be clear, it is a professionally managed property, so don't expect an "authentic" Vietnamese home-stay. It is basically a mini-hotel. Our room was just as described in the listing. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom (and rare bathroom in Vietnam with an actual shower door and wash cloth provided). Great location for walking around to visit core sites in Saigon. Plenty of food options in surrounding neighborhood. We had a street-facing room that was quiet on a Saturday night, but a Friday night was horrible due to the coffee house across the street having a performer play loud music until 11pm. I don't think the music is a regular thing, but if you are staying over the weekend, maybe ask for a room away from the street.

Christina’s apartment is fantastic! Clean, modern, stylist and perfectly located. The team is really friendly and added some personal touches to make us feel really welcomed. Saigon is full on and hectic so having our haven to come back to was such a highlight. Probably one of the best air BnB we’ve stayed in and every description was completely accurate. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone!
