House rules

Our #1 RULE is to treat our place as if it were yours - unless your place is a college frat house, in which case please treat it like your grandma’s house instead. We hate setting rules but the following are really necessary for us to provide everyone with a great stay:

NO SMOKING on premise. We will be forced to charge a USD250 cleaning fee for any violations and the offender may be asked to leave our property without a refund‐‐it’s really not fair for our guests who paid for a non-smoking experience to have to deal with smoke.

MUST REGISTER all over-night visitors as required by local laws. Also, for the fellows, we are definitely not a "girl-friendly" hotel so please choose somewhere else if that's what you're looking for.

SHOES OFF inside the house. It’s a given in Vietnam but we understand that this can be an issue for some people so we just want to make sure you are aware prior to making a booking.

This is not so bad right?

Check In

I can’t even describe how unique this place is in its decor and its capability to make you feel so cozy and at home. From the moment of booking till the moment I rolled my suitcase away, every single thing was absolutely perfect. Great hospitality was given from the beginning and was always provided throughout my stay. Whether it was just a joyful “hello” accompanied with a warm smile or the simple care in making sure we were making the best of our time in the area, we knew we were in good hands. Their team not only lived up to my high expectations, but even went beyond it.

As for the actual room and location itself, everything was super clean and thought out. They will provide you with all the amenities you could possibly need. The furnishings and choice in materials were great, making sure each time we came back it was a sense of relaxation. As for the location itself, it may not be just a step out to things but it is definitely a good balance between distance and being able to retreat back to your cozy room. Honestly, it was at most a 10 minute stroll to reach the middle of the main area.

Basically, you should just book this place and you will be more than happy that you did.

Side note: their dogs were adorable and I wished I had gotten the chance to play with them more. Also, their homemade cookies were super yummy! Thanks Minh for letting us try some!

It’s a bit like Swiss chalet but in need of a little repair in places. The hosts were nice and it’s just a stroll “down” the hill to the shops etc. The bedroom was as described and comfortable. In terms of value for money I would rate it as average.

Great place to spend a few days in sapa. It is a bit outside of the main area which makes it a quiet place. The house itself is beautifully decorated on the inside as well as outside. If you get a room on the higher levels you'll be able to enjoy the mountain views from your balcony. Lastly the staff are super helpful and friendly. I can highly recommend this place
