Check In

The room is very spacious and can definitely accommodate more than 2 people. There’s a famous pub right next door so if you would like a drink, it wouldn’t be difficult. However, the malfuntioned bathroom and the hard mattress are big minuses. Water is very weak, you can’t take a shower properly. But I won’t come back here for the following reason: When I was sleeping at 2am, someone (maybe the host?) knocked on my door real hard to ask for the electric kettle I brought inside. That was so rude and I was so frustrated that I couldn’t go back to sleep. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs at nice locations in Hanoi but this one is definitely my worst experience so far.

Joe is an incredibly nice guy. I highly recommend staying at Minimalist while your in Honai. The location is fantastic and all the tourist attractions are close by. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Very easy for the Grab taxi to get to his place. The room is beautiful with a really large window. The bathroom is clean and has lots of hot water. I spent a week over at Joe’s place and without hesitation I would (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication with Joe is very easy and reply’s are within the hour. The self check in is effortless. Joe provided details and pictures on the self check in. Seriously you can’t mess up on it!

Great location and very helpful host. Super comfortable room. The shower was broken, but otherwise, I loved my stay here.
