Interaction with guests

My sister ( co-host) and I are currently studying aboard but my parents will be there to welcome you. We have been doing airbnb since 2015 and was able to welcome guest from all over the world. Although my parents don't speak English, but they are super friendly and caring. They live on the 3th floor so they will be around most of the time to help if you need anything. On the other hand, my sister and me are also available through airbnb 24/7. If you have any question or need any help, feel free to contact us!

The neighborhood

Although our house is only 5 min from the center of the city, the street that our house located on is actually just far enough for you to have a get away from the hustle and bustle of the Hanoi city.

Getting around

It's very easy to get around the city. There are bus stations near the house. Taxi is also a really convenient and inexpensive way to get around the city. I would also recommend using the GRAB app (it's like Uber/ Lyft for Vietnam). To get to our house from the airport, it's only 45 min drive. Airport Taxi would be the easiest and most convenient way. The price is around 300,000 - 350,000 VND.

Other things to note

You will receive the apartment's key from the flower shop's staff once you arrive to our house. The keys include your room key, the front door key and a security card for the elevator. The flower shop on the ground floor is opened from 7AM to 10:30PM. If you want to leave the house ealier or later than that, you can use the front door key that is attached with your room key to open it. If you have any trouble with opening the door, you can ring the bell on the left and my parents will come down to help.

Check In

Lovely space with natural lighting, a perfect walk to the main streets of the Old Quarter but 2 blocks far enough to not have to deal with the night noise. I really loved the airiness of the space and the abundance of plants in the two balconies. It truly felt like a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. The toilet and kitchen were spotless, and the tiny kitchen was prepped enough to take on creating a meal if you chose to. Mai was responsive, and we felt confident in the safety of the airbnb. I would recommend this airbnb!

A fantastic location and a host who makes you feel welcomed. Would recommend this place highly.

This place is truly magical as you enter through a bustling flower shop and pass a quiet cafe before riding a tiny elevator up to the apartment. The apartment is thoughtfully decorated with lots of hanging plants on the terraces and travel books available for guests. Mai's place was kept very clean and there is access to a washing machine on a different floor though we didn't use it as we only found out the day before our last night. I had anticipated noise from construction across the street based on other reviews but it was more than expected. Construction didn't stop until 3 am and started up again at 7 am during our stay. Still, I would stay at Mai's place again but would be sure to bring earplugs for the night.
