The neighborhood

Not the fanciest area in the city, but coming out of the alley, you can see the busting typical daily life of Vietnamese people. Plus, you can get anything you need at cheaper prices and within walking distance.

Getting around

Please read our guidebook for more details.

Other things to note

You might bump into other people living in the building (who are mostly polite and keep to themselves). But be sure to keep your door locked at all times.

Check In

Tbh this is probably the best airbnb i have stayed in on my asia trip. The internet is crazy fast and Hà is out of her way nice!

GREAT LOCATION! Especially if you need to use FAST INTERNET for your trip, this is the spot! Most of the time, the internet was around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Mbps—I was able to upload gigs of videos to my (Hidden by Airbnb) Drive for work. So first, it's definitely a good (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min walk to the Old Quarter—not your central backpacker location—but that's actually good if you want a less touristy location. In this area, you'll see more locals and smaller/cheaper shops compared to the central Old Quarter.

Advice though: when arriving, look at the check-in instructions and find it on your (Hidden by Airbnb) maps. If you're taking a Grab from the airport and you put in the road the Airbnb is on, your driver might not be able to enter the smaller street, so you might have to walk a bit.

Hà was an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and helped with everyhing we asked for. We were very thankful for the quick responses!

The location is pretty great too, although you have to cross the big road to get to the old quarter, which is like 10 minutes walking. This may be scary in the beginning but you get used to it. And there is a bridge a bit further down the street which you can cross as well.

The place was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was big too. The whole apartment was spacious and cool thanks to the aircondition.

I would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Hanoi!
