Interaction with guests

Do not treat us with a host-and guest relationship, let consider us as your friends. You are going to stay in the same building with us so most of the time we will be there when you check-in, check-out or need anything.

We love to take you out, spend time with you, show you around and inspire you with all the things we know about Hanoi when we are available. Additionally, we also provided a printed guidebook in which you can find lots of useful recommendations.

The neighborhood

As we mentioned above, there are many local people who have been living around here for generations. They are very friendly and nice.

From the balcony and rooftop, you can have a panoramic view to many French colonial architectural buildings and Vietnamese housing architecture system.

Getting around

From our place, it is very easy for you to access many tourist attractions from this street.

- Just 10 minutes to Hoan Kiem lake.

- About 1 minutes to Bia Hoi street – Tạ Hien street

- About 1 minutes to Bach Ma Temple on Hang Buom street

- Just about a few minutes to walk to vegetarian, India, Western and Vietnamese restaurants (information of the restaurants is shown in details in the printed guidebook, which is on the table of each room).

Other things to note

Because there are many bars surround here so it may be noisy at night in the weekend.

Our house is at the end of a deep lane with a big yard, where we and our neighbors living around there share the space with each other. When you first come, you may feel a little bit insecure due to its length but believe me, it’s totally safe because there are a lot of people live there and all of them are nice. Moreover, the lane and yard are only the common space so it’s completely comfortable for you to stay privately at our place.

Please be aware of excessive noise caused by the steel door. We will show you how to use it gently when we meet in person.

The floors are tiled with stone which will be cold in the winter. We don’t want you to experience this inconvenience, so we leave indoor slippers in the room.

Check In

This is the perfect spot to stay in Hanoi. Right in the thick of the old quarter, but away from the main streets which means it's much quieter and relaxed. Light sleepers may still want to bring earlugs. The host was able to accommodate our late arrival without a problem. Be sure to save the photo directions that the host sends so that you are able to find it your first time. Can't recommend highly enough.

This place is the perfect place to stay in Hanoi. The ultimate location, and the cleanest place. I stayed in 4 AirBnbs while on my Vietnam trip, and this was by far the best one!

Khanh's place was a great point from which to explore Hanoi! It is very centrally located and easy to find. Khanh was super helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport and was very quick to respond to any questions. It's a no frills apartment, but was a good place to rest after long days of exploring the city.
