You will find the Vu Tri Vien House in the heart of Huê’s citadel, a couple streets away from the Imperial enclosure. The House welcomes you for a unique and authentic vietnamese experience .Our family will friendly welcome you and we will share with you our everyday life and the diversity of our culture. We will be glad to prepare and share our meal with you and guide you outside of the turistic ways in the city as well as in the countryside and show you some moves of our morning Tai Chi.

Our bedrooms are fair-sized, calm and comfortable and will assure you a resting time. The very central situation of our house will allow you to walk through the town and discover its wonders.

Guest access

Situated in central Vietnam coast, Huê has a very strong historical background and is surrounded by wonderful sea, rice fields and moutain landscapes.

This city was our country’s capital under the Nguyen dynasty from 1802 to 1945 and, though part of its imperial buildings were destroyed during the american war, the site remains part of the Unesco world heritage.

Therefore, you will be able to discover the imperial enclosure (still under renovation), the old city, numbers of imperial tombs (all different but all wonderful), pagodas and museums.

Interaction with guests

In order to discover the Vietnamese cooking , you will wake up early to buy fresh food products at the local maket, and in the evening you will help preparing the dishes we will share for dinner with the family.

Fantastic homestay in Hue that exceeded my expectations! Everything is very nice and clean, but more importantly Quynh is very kind and was so welcoming to my friend and I. Breakfast was super yummy as well. I would happily stay here again in the future!

Marvelous hospitality. Kind people. A beautiful home in a great location. Delicious food. Comfortable rooms. All in all a perfect stay. I would happily go back or suggest it to any of my friends.

Nothing but the highest praise for the hospitality, and genuine inclusion in their home. Don’t expect to eat every night with them, or have hotel linen changed daily— that doesn’t happen at your houseYou either. But your needs for travel connections and questions about the area will be thoughtfully addressed. A delightful two days in Hue. One day the Citadel and the next the three fantastic tombs of the emperors. Buy the combo ticket if you will see them all.
