I can highly recommend to stay with Chung and her family. The accommodation is 10 min. by bicycle to the beach and 20 min. from the Old Town of Hoi An. The breakfast is great and the garden just lovely. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Chung was the best host I had so far in Vietnam, she explained everything after arrival and is always there to answer questions!

Highly recommended.

1. For us, the location was perfect. It was exactly between the historic city center and the beach. It took about 15 minutes to reach the city and also 20 minutes to reach An Bang beach by bicycle (not motorbike). An Bang is a little further, but definitely the better beach. The bicycles were free of charge. It is also worth it to bicycle off the main road in the pastoral rice paddies right behind the place. It is also easy and close to take taxis or Grab if you choose not to bike.

2. The host was very nice and had great English. Chung provided us with tips and also gave us a map upon our arrival.

3. The breakfast is free and there are local dishes to choose from. Obviously you have to notify Chung 24 hours in advance.

Chung is an amazing and thoughtful host. She really goes out of her way to be helpful. I arrived late and was having trouble finding the van and she was up and waiting for me with tea on arrival. She offers free bikes to go into town or the beach and tours and scooter rentals as well for well below the going rate. I just lived this quiet little stay and Chung was an absolutely amazing host. Very responsive, very helpful, such a great homestay :)
