Check In

Tony's place looks exactly like the pictures posted on Airbnb. However, the only way to truly see what a great view the apartment has is by seeing it yourself in person. It was amazing having this view in the mornings and late evenings.

Similar to previous reviews, Tony was really great in communicating with my family and I both prior to our stay and during our stay. He was extremely accommodating and provided the necessary amenities for our stay.

In addition, the location of the Airbnb is great as it was only a maximum of 10-15 mins. away from major sites and food places we visited. We were able to easily request a Grab whenever we went out. It was also very convenient to be located above a 7/11 and VinMart; which we frequented during our stay.

Beautiful little apartment. Looks exactly like the pictures, very secure building and great amenities. Everything was spotless. Definitely recommend

This place had such great reviews that I went in with high expectations but it fell short of what I had expected. Some pro's first. Tony was a great communicator via Airbnb messaging or (Hidden by Airbnb) -- he had responded very quickly each time I had contacted him. The location of the place was in District 4, but VERY close to district 1 (can walk there). In the heat, my friends and I choose to take Grab (the Uber in Vietnam) and it was very easy to obtain one at Tony's place. The address was also in Grab's directory. Lastly, the price was great and affordable.

Onto the con's. Once we walked in, we noticed the wear and tear of the place. The apartment was not sparking new, which is understandable but we felt that there was minimal maintenance effort . We saw a lot of ants by the common area/kitchen, alive and a pile of dead ones, which I had contacted Tony about and he had quickly came to rectify the situation while we were out. We came back to the apartment and noticed no more ants crawling but scattered dead ones I suppose from the pesticides-- still unsightly. The A/C in the rooms were sufficient but not the one in the living room. Again some maintenance needs to be done to upkeep the place.

Overall, it was affordable and location was great. Host was easily accessible. Cleanliness was an issue for us and the place was not exactly like what was depicted.
