All furniture is carefully handpicked to combine nostalgic details with modern accentuation. You can cook yourself a square meal on the jet-black stone oven, simple yet convenient. Lay the table under the warm yellow light of the improvised paper chandelier.

You notice the Louis-aged wooden chair staring across its fashionable plastique version, renovated and renamed Ghost by the renowned Phillippe Starck. Maybe this is an intentional set-up for the past and presence to have an intimate conversation. The contrast between walnut lumber wood and colorful lacquer wardrobes. The neighborhood

It’s all about the location. You’re just a three-minute stroll from The Vietnam History Museum, a 24/7 family marketplace, and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens — Vietnam's largest zoo and botanical garden (dating back to 1865). Local shops and restaurants are also minutes away, including The Lunch Lady - one of the most famous street food stalls in the city. The locals love it here, and the vendor sells a different Vietnamese noodle dish every day — a great excuse for repeat visits! In between all the sightseeing and sampling street food, be sure to take a walk to the riverfront. It's a short meander from your front door with plenty of tree-shaded sidewalks to enjoy lazy strolls.

Getting around

Transportation in Ho Chi Minh City is easy. There are plenty of Taxi: Vinasun, Mai Linh, Uber, Grab, or public transportation. Also, bike riding is easily and convenient. Or if you prefer to just walk there are plenty of sidewalks in the shade of trees along the river. Museums, shops, dining are all within a short walk of the apartment. Looking to explore further? I'm happy to help guide you through Ho Chi Minh City's public bus system. Motorbike parking is available for 10.000 VND/night. Complementary maps and personal recommendations of what to eat, drink, and see during your stay are provided for your convenience.

The room was good. But i think little bit expensive than another house. Because this room is not private. My room is first floor and groud floor have some cafe.

Room conditions was goood :)

This is a great apartment layout for couples. The interior is very comfortable and has all you need. Was a bit loud in the apartment with the noise outside and the aircon but we spent a lot of the time exploring the city. It is a bit removed from the main attractions but easy to get to if you have a Grab account if not a little bit of a walk to see the sites. The host was extremely helpful and was very easy to communicate.

Bares place is in a fantastic location, surrounded by lots of great places to explore. There is a lovely street food vendor just out the front of the cafe who sells a really yummy noodle soup. We loved our stay at Bares apartment, it was nice to come home to a air-conditioned apartment after a long day of walking!
