Stylish room at central location.

Downstairs is the famous Domino bookstore and coffee bar. You could enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee there.

The house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood right in the central area. Many shops and restaurants around. Most attractions are nearby. Pham Ngu Lao, Ben Thanh market, museums, tour agencies, bus...

The room is stylish and cozy, with curtained glass walls on two sides, and some greeneries that I think you will love. :)

You will stay on the top floor of a very cool pre-war house that our family just renovated. It is the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor if you follow American system).

You will use a communal bathroom, shared with 3 other rooms. It has a separate shower room, toilet and washing area, and I try my best to keep it clean and neat.

Guest access

On the top floor there is a common lounge that you could relax and and chit chat with other travellers.

There is a chill balcony on the first floor; in the morning you should come here, grab a coffee and listen to the city waking up.

On the ground floor is the famous Domino bookstore (mostly Vietnamese books for now), and a coffee bar where you could try the famous Vietnamese coffee.

The neighborhood

The house is in a small alley, in a quiet residential neighbourhood. However it is right in the centre of HCMC. There are many shops and many cheap, good restaurants around. Most attractions are nearby. Pham Ngu Lao backpacker street, Bui Vien, Ben Thanh market, museum, tour agencies, super market, Nguyen Trai shopping street, local wet market... You will save a lot on transportations.

Getting around

My place is within walking distance to the bus stop at Pham Ngu Lao backpacker street where you could catch many buses to other cities in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Check In

I booked the room because the Coffee shop looked like my kinda place. On our way to Vietnam, we made a friend during the long layover. New friend and his brother gave us a ride to the coffee shop and as the brother walked up to the door, he said, “Wait. I know this place. This used to be a book store. I came here when I was in school. This was one if my favorite places.”

The place just has special atmosphere. In fact, its one of my favorite AirBnB stays. The spaces that makes up the coffee shop are tranquil, the rooms are super clean and so cute, the coffee is good and the hosts are the kind of people you would like to hang out with.

Basically, book the room. You will be glad you did. I know I am and I cant wait to stay there again.

This place is hands down my favorite in Vietnam! So lush and accommodating. Every common area is super cozy and the hosts are so nice! I never left the place LOL. Will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Love this place the hosts were amazing
