The neighborhood

It’s all about the location.

You’re just a three-minute stroll from The Vietnam History Museum, a 24/7 family marketplace, and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens — Vietnam's largest zoo and botanical garden (dating back to 1865).

Local shops and restaurants are also minutes away, including The Lunch Lady - one of the most famous street food stalls in the city. The locals love it here, and the vendor sells a different Vietnamese noodle dish every day — a great excuse for repeat visits!

In between all the sightseeing and sampling street food, be sure to take a walk to the riverfront. It's a short meander from your front door with plenty of tree-shaded sidewalks to enjoy lazy strolls.

Getting around

Transportation in Ho Chi Minh City is easy. There are plenty of Taxi: Vinasun, Mai Linh, Grab, or public transportation. Also, bike riding is easily and convenient. Or if you prefer to just walk there are plenty of sidewalks in the shade of trees along the river.

Museums, shops, dining are all within a short walk of the apartment. Looking to explore further? I'm happy to help guide you through Ho Chi Minh City's public bus system. Motorbike parking is available for 10.000 VND/night.

Complementary maps and personal recommendations of what to eat, drink, and see during your stay are provided for your convenience.

We want all of our guests to feel at home the moment they walk in the door. We gladly provide light refreshments, like drinks or noodles, to help you feel refreshed upon arrival. Please feel free to note any preferences in your inquiry.

Loved the location and projector!

The space is central in the sense that’s it’s in the heart of a bunch of restaurants and activity in a non-touristy area. It is indeed very loud with a lot of dogs so be aware of you arrive late at night so you aren’t startled by the dogs. Definitely bring ear plugs. The host was very quick to respond which was great. The towels are underneath the staircase and the ceiling up the bed is very low so if you’re tall that might be difficult. To get a slice of HCM it’s a good location!

Bare’s place was great and very clean! The WiFi and AC worked wonderfully.

The only issue we had was it can be quite loud from street at night. I would recommend ear plugs.
