Jose's place was a life saver for us while walking the Camino. The hosts are flexible with check in and helped recommend a restaurant in town that would be open on a Sunday. Cute and clean, it is just ten minutes walking from the downtown area. Note that there are some neighboring dogs who might bark at you from the fence if you're walking by, but otherwise are harmless. Normal for the area. We didn't have a car but they had parking available. Thanks Jose!

First big plus: a place to park right in the house through an automatic gate...

Jose came out to the street to greet us. Quite a pleasant guy to talk to. His relaxed demeanor was welcoming and he very generously gave us a tour of the gardens, sharing fruits, vegetables and Galician culture. He gave us some good tips and offered himself for any assistance we needed. A thoughtful person; had we had more time, I would be interested in conversing further with him.

The space was pleasant: 3 single beds in a large room, a decent sized bathroom/shower. The kitchen/dining room sports a charismatic 200+ year old wall from the original home (which incidentally, belonged to Jose’s great-great grandparents!)

All in all, no complaints and a nice stay. Thank you José.

delightful farm with fantastic views a treasure...
